A Simple raw mango and Bombay Duck Curry
Ingredients 1
40 gms garlic
10 kashmiri chilies
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
grind to paste with just enough water
Ingredients 2
1 big green raw mango
2 onions (150 gms) Sliced
3 Bombay ducks
2 and 1/2 cups Rice Conjee
Salt to taste
2 tbsp jaggery powder
Method
Add oil to the vessel, once hot add the sliced onions and stir fry till translucent, add the mango pieces , and stir fry . Now add the rice conjee and the ground masala and Some amount of water.
Allow to come to a boil, then cook on medium flame. Add the Bombay ducks, salt to taste and 2 tbsp jaggery powder. Cook till done.
For the fried Bombay Ducks
14 Bombay ducks
for the masala
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1tsp cumin powder
1tsp pepper powder
salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or any other vinegar
1tbsp ginger garlic paste
Marinate the fish with this masala
then coat with rawa and rice flour mixture and shallow fry
