Bounty Chocolate

Easy quick delicious Bounty Chocolate made with honey,desiccated, clarified butter and vanilla essence



Ingredients

200 gms Desiccated coconut

200 ml Honey

1 tbsp Clarified butter

2 tsp vanilla essence


Method

Add clarified butter to a pan , lightly roast the Desiccated coconut on a completely low flame without changing the colour of the coconut. Remove from flame. Add the vanilla essence,  honey and mix well.

Form into shapes , rectangle or square . Refrigerate for half an hour.


Coating with chocolate

100 gms dark chocolate


Method

Using the double boiler method, melt the chocolate. Coat the coconut bars with the chocolate.


Double boiler method: A large vessel is filled with water  and heated up. A smaller pot is placed on top of the large vessel. With the help of the steam , the chocolate starts to melt)


Place the stainless steel grill/ cooling grill on a tray. Coat the coconut bars with the melted chocolate and place on a stainless steel grill / cooling grill for excess chocolate to drip.

Refrigerate.
