Chicken Curry With East Indian Bottle Masala 2

Chicken curry with a coconut ground paste and East Indian Bottle Masala.

Ingredients 500 gms chicken Marinate the chicken pieces with 1 tsp bottle masala 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste salt to taste.

Ingredients 1 cup desiccated coconut 1/2 tsp poppy seeds 1/2 tsp Sesame seeds 6 cloves 1inch cinnamon 2 tsp pepper corn 1 bay leaf Lightly roast the above mentioned ingredients 1 onion sliced shallow fry the onions till lightly browned 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Add just enough water grind to paste


Ingredients few curry leaves 2 onions finely chopped 1 tomato finely chopped 1 or 2 tbsp Bottle Masala or add according to taste 1/2 tsp chilli powder or According to taste


Method Heat up some ghee, add the curry leaves, once it starts to splutter add the finely chopped onions and stir fry till lightly browned. Then add the finely chopped tomatoes and Cook till soft. Add the chicken pieces and stir fry. After a minute add the ground masala and mix well. Add the bottle masala , mix well. Add just enough water and allow to cook. once done add chilli powder According to taste and salt to taste. Sprinkle in finely chopped coriander leaves.
