Fish Moilee

An East Indian Fish Moilee , consisting of cut masala and East Indian Bottle Masala. This moilee can be prepared with milk shark, pomfret or king fish.





Ingredients


400 gms finely chopped onions


2 green Chilies finely chopped


1 shark / Mushi , Marinate the shark pieces with 1 tsp bottle masala , 1tsp ginger garlic paste, salt to taste and shallow fry.



1 inch ginger finely chopped


6 garlic cloves finely chopped


1tbsp bottle masala or according to taste


1/4 tsp Turmeric powder


salt to taste


1tsp vinegar or 1/2 tsp



Method


Heat up some oil. Add the finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chilies. Stir fry for a1/2 a minute, then add the finely chopped onions and stir fry till lightly brown. Add the bottle masala, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Add some amount of water and bring it to a boil on medium flame. Lastly add the fried shark pieces , mix gently. Add the finely chopped coriander leaves.
