Ingredients 1
500 gms Mutton
2 green chillies finely chopped
1tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
salt to taste
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
Method
Wash mutton well , add very little salt, turmeric powder, and keep for 20 mins.
wash well and and pat dry.
Marinate the mutton with the above mentioned ingredients (1)
Keep for half hour. Using a pressure cooker , Fry the mutton in ghee .
Then pressure cook with just enough water on high first whistle then low for 10 mins.
Reserve the stock to use for cooking.
Ingredients 2
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 bay leaf
1/2 inch cinnamon stick
3 cloves
1 tsp pepper corn
1/4 tsp sesame seeds
1/4 tsp poppy seeds
dry roast the above lightly
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
dry roast the desiccated coconut
1 big onion sliced
shallow fry in very little oil lightly
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1tsp ginger garlic paste
Grind all the above with some amount of water to a paste .
Ingredients 3
2 onions finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
(Add) chili powder according to ones taste
Method
Heat up some ghee, fry the onions till lightly brown. Then add the chopped tomatoes and cook till soft. Add the ground masala and stir fry for a minute on low flame. Add the cooked mutton pieces and some of the reserved stock.
Mix well. Now add chili powder as per your taste. Allow to cook for 5 to 10 mins .
Lastly add finely chopped coriander leaves.
