Oats Cookies

A lovely crunchy cookie made with flour ,oats and dry fruits. A yummy tea time treat or for any festivities.


Ingredients

100 gms plain flour

100 gms oats

50 gms Tutti frutti or you can add a mix of 50 gms total Tutti frutti, finely chopped cashew nuts and few finely chopped raisins

80 or 100 gms powdered sugar

1/4tsp baking powder

100 gms butter melted

1or 2 tbsp milk


Combine flour ,oats and dry fruit and baking powder together. Cream the melted butter and powdered sugar together.


Add the flour mixture and mix well. Add a tbsp of milk . Shape into flat round shapes.

Brush a baking tray with oil. Place these cookies on the tray and place in the fridge for half hour

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Take the cookie trays out and bake at 180 degrees for 20 mins or till firm and brown on the under side.
