Potato And Peas Cutlets

A vegetarian cutlet with mashed potato , green peas, dried herbs and cheese.



INGREDIENTS 550 gms potatoes boiled then peeled and mashed 100 gms pizza cheese or cheddar cheese 100 gms green peas 1 to 2 green chilli finely chopped 3 medium size onions finely chopped (Stir fry the finely chopped onions,peas and green chillies remove keep aside) 1 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp pepper powder 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


METHOD

Mix the mashed potatoes with the stir fried onion mixture. Add salt to taste,pepper powder and garam masala powder. Mix well . Form this into balls. Flatten it, then add some cheese in the middle and close to form a ball then round shape.


FOR THE COATING make a liquid paste of cornflour and water mix well. Then grind to powder 1 cup cornflakes and 1 tbsp semolina.

Roll in cornflour mixture then in cornflake mixture. Refrigerate and keep for an half hour. Shallow fry.


FOR THE CHUTNEY take some Corriander leaves Ginger garlic paste Salt and chaat masala 1 green chill Salt an sugar to taste Grind to a paste.
